If you decide to help someone, your support goes directly to the verified beneficiary using the information provided on their profile.

Every profile is reviewed before publication, and the platform promotes accountability through transparency, volunteer participation, and community verification.

SAHANA User Guide

How to use the platform

For Donors

  1. Browse people in need on the People page or the Aid Map.
  2. Click Donate, choose an amount and purpose.
  3. Your contribution goes directly to that person's own bank account — Sahana never holds your donation.
  4. Always verify the person's details by phone with our team before sending money.
  5. See updates and proof shared by the community on the Transparency page.

For Volunteers

  1. Log in and open your Volunteer Dashboard.
  2. Use Add Person to submit someone who needs help — admin reviews before publishing.
  3. Track your submissions under My Submissions.
  4. Edit your profile, photo, and download your Membership Card under Profile.
  5. Use Support to contact the admin team with any issue.

For Sponsors

  1. Visit the Sponsor Donation page.
  2. Choose a Weekly or Monthly plan (or a custom amount).
  3. Fill in your company details and upload your logo.
  4. Submit via Bank Transfer — once approved, your banner appears on the Sponsor page.
